Rose Marie Edwards

Rose Marie Edwards , 74, of Lehigh Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp., died early Monday morning, February 19, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  She was the longtime companion of the late Howard Lucas who passed in 2005.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lenora (Jones) Edwards.

Rose was employed as a machine operator by the Alpo-Purina Corp., Allentown. Previously, she worked in the regional garment industry as a machine operator for many years. Rose enjoyed attending the Hope Lutheran Church Senior Community Center, Cherryville, and was an avid golfer at various courses in the area.

Survivors : Brother, David L. of Walnutport. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Verda Miller, and Lenore Heil, and brothers, Charles, Wilbert,  William, and Samuel.
