Rose C. Laxar

Rose C. Laxar , 78 of Northampton, PA passed away December 24, 2024, at Genesis South Skilled Nursing Center, Bethlehem, PA. Born July 24, 1946 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Dorothea Morgan. She was married to Daniel Laxar, with whom she spent 32 loving years before his passing in 2011.

A 1965 graduate of Lourdes Mount High School, Clarks Summit PA, she continued on to work at knitting mills, be a manicure artist, and also work in childcare through out the years. Rose was also a homemaker, taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her free time sewing and crocheting.

Surviving are daughters, Michelle Ferrey of Northampton, PA, Lisa Rodriguez and husband Angelo of Schuylkill Haven, PA, grandchildren, Chantell Corcoran of Schuylkill Haven, PA, Samantha and Brandon Ferrey, both of Northampton, PA. 2 great-grandchildren.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with her care.
