Rose Marie Salter

Rose Marie (Gartner) Salter, 93, of Cedarbrook County Home, South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Coplay, and Emmaus, died Sunday morning, January 1, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Katherine (Etchberger) Gartner.
Rose Marie was employed in the assembly department of the former Western Electric Corporation, Allentown, for 28 years, retiring in 1985. She was an original member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus. Rose Marie enjoyed baking, crochet, and playing pinochle.
Survivors: Daughter, Kathy wife of Charles DeBellis of Breinigsville. Sons, Dennis and wife Dorothy of Bow, New Hampshire, Roger and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, Florida. 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister, Marie DeWalt of Allentown. Brother, Jacob and wife Margie of Whitehall Township. Nieces and nephews.
Services: 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday in the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be at Coplay Cemetery.
