Russel D. Correll

Russel D. Correll , 92, of Northampton, PA, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Alexandria Manor, Bath.  Born August 22, 1929, in Hanover Township, he was the son of the late William E. and Alice M. (Solt) Correll, and husband of the late Louise S. (Specht) Correll.

He was an electrician for the former Western Electric Co., Allentown, for thirty years before retiring.  He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War.  Russel was a member of Porter Lodge No. 284 F&AM.  He was a former Cemetery Board Member at Schoenersville Cemetery and past Captain of Bushkill Township Fire Police, as well as an ambulance driver for Bushkill Township.  Russel was also a former Master of the Hanover Grange.

Survivors: He is survived by sons, David C. Correll and wife Gail of Nazareth, and Keith A. Correll and wife Jane of N. Catasauqua.  Daughter, Karen L. wife of Allen Smith of Northampton.  Ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by sons Terry L. Correll and Jeffrey S. Correll, and sister, Betty J. Sterner.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service, all on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Interment will follow at Schoenersville Cemetery.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.
