Russell W. Henning

Russell W. Henning , 89, of Pine Street, Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Township, PA, died peacefully early Friday morning, September 1, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Devo T. (Gruber) Henning since June 12, 1954. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Russell A. and Violet M. (Mertz) Henning.

Russell was employed as an overhead crane operator by the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and caring for exotic birds.

Survivors : Wife. Daughter, Sandra A. wife of Jeffrey Frantz of Frankford, DE. Son, Mark A. and wife Annette of Aquashicola. 3 grandchildren, Angela, Carrie, and Jacob. 4 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lauryn, Donovan, and Emerson. Sister, Marion Rodgers of Aquashicola. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Ruth Haydt.
