Ruth E. Hartman

Ruth E. (Smith) Hartman , 91, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, December 10, 2020.  She was the wife of the late George L. Hartman, who passed on November 23, 2013.  She was one of four children to the late Russell and Helen (Shuck) Smith.

Ruth married her beloved husband, George, on November 24, 1949 at the age of 21, and together they loved to travel the world.  Ruth was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.  She worked as a seamstress for the former Scotty's Fashions in Lehighton.  Ruth loved playing cards and spending time with her family.

Survivors: Sons, Terry Hartman of Lehighton, and Todd Hartman and his wife Darla, of Florida.  Grandchildren, Kyle Hartman and wife Cherise, Jennifer Hartman, Dakota Hartman and wife Christal, and Dalton Hartman, all of Lehighton.  Great-grandchildren, Calvin and Zelda.  Nieces and nephews.
