Ruth L. Peckitt

Ruth L. Peckitt , 81, of Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at St. Luke's, Lehighton.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Alexander) Kehm.

Ruth was employed by the Ramada Inn, Allentown, in the housekeeping department.  Previously, she was employed in the same capacity for the Hamilton Plaza.  A loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she enjoyed volunteering at the Assion Soup Kitchen, Allentown.

Survivors: Daughters, Debrah A. Cintron with whom she resided, Sarah Peckitt of Weissport, and Mary Peckitt of Allentown. Son, Paul Peckitt, Jr. of Tamaqua.  10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Jean Barlip of Nazareth, and Pauline Kehm of Allentown.  Brothers, LeRoy Kehm, Luther Kehm, and Robert Kehm.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Schoenberger.
