Samuel A. Mccamish

Samuel A. McCamish , 78, of Stagecoach Road-Forest Inn, Lehighton, Towamensing Twp., PA, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 11, 2022, in his home.  He was the husband of Kathryn D. (Stevens) McCamish who passed earlier this year.  Born in Fullerton, CA, he was a son of the late Samuel B. and Zeltz F. (Nay) McCamish.

Samuel was employed as a Supervisor of Maintenance for the Placentia-Yorba United School District, Orange County, CA, for over 30 years retiring in 2011. he served in the Navy, Vietnam, with the Air Anti-Submarine Squadron 29, achieving the rank of AZ3 (E-4).  Samuel enjoyed caring for his pets and animals.

Survivors: Daughters, Melissa I. wife of Timothy Coats of Danville, CA, and Suzanne Vander Karr with whom he resided.  Son, Michael A. and wife Dina M. McCamish of Warwick, RI.  10 grandchildren.  Sister, Sally McCamish of Marana, AZ.  Brother, Ronald Thompson of Yorba Linda, CA.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Bobby.
