Scott D. Smith,
59, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Thursday evening, July 19, 2018, at his home. He was the husband of Tracy M. (Muniz) Smith since September 20, 1986. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of Donald J. and Lillian M. (Beers) Smith of Palmerton.
Scott was employed as a Design Engineer by the Intel Corporation, Allentown, formerly AT&T Corporation, for over 30 years. He was a 1977 graduate of the Palmerton High School. He served his country honorably in the Navy from 1977 to 1983, Peacetime, achieving the rank of FTM2(E-5). Later, he graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute, Allentown. Scott was an avid golfer, participating in the Mahoning Valley League for several years. He enjoyed his dart league, bowling league, and hunting over the years.

Wife, Tracy. Parents, Donald and Lillian Smith. Daughter, Amy J. wife of Jarrod Saas of Palmerton. Son, Zack D. Smith of Flagstaff, AZ. 2 granddaughters, Payeton and Skyla. Sister, Deb wife of Jay Albright of Kutztown. Brother, Keith and wife Patty Smith of Palmerton. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Dean, in 1984.
