Sharon L. Mayers

Sharon L. Mayers, 76 of Northampton, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Born August 11, 1950 in Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George Huey and the late Alene (Bailey) Hayes. She and her husband Charles M. Mayers were married on December 29, 1979.

She worked as a binder at Metro Printing, Allentown and as a Nurses Aide at MY Home, Catasauqua, PA. Sharon enjoyed knitting and collecting owls.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Denise D. Myers, sisters, Rosemary Roberts, Janice wife of Stanley Weil, and Kimberly Ann, two granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-father Ernest L. Hayes.

Services: A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlas Road, Allen Township.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
