Sheila E. Schlier, 44, of the Lansford Mid Rise, formerly of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Tuesday morning, July 19, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital, Miners Memorial Campus, Coaldale, after being stricken at home. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Earl L., Sr. and Doreen L. (Hettler) Schlier.
Sheila was a loving sister, and aunt. She attended Salem Bible Fellowship Church, Mahoning Township. Sheila enjoyed participating in life class, Power in Lehighton, and being involved in the ARC Programs. She enjoyed knitting, painting, cooking, and baking.
Survivors: Sister, Kelly L. wife of David Bowman, Jr. of Coaldale. Brothers, Earl A.L., Jr. and wife Lisa Fairchild of Lehighton, Corey R., Sr. and wife Sally of Lansford, Troy A. and wife Ann Marie of Weatherly. Aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by infant sister, Colleen in 1963, and a great-nephew, Brayden Allen Schlier in 2014.
Services: 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235. Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, prior to services, in the funeral home. Interment at Packerton Cemetery, Beaver Street, Mahoning Township, Lehighton, PA 18235.
