Shirlene K. Cerceo

Shirlene K. Cerceo , 90 of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Whitehall, PA passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Willow Valley Nursing Communities in Willow Street, PA. Born May 23, 1935 in Whitehall, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. Kuhns and the late Isabel (Weaver) Kuhns. Shirlene was the wife of the late Alphonse "BUD" Cerceo who passed away on November 14, 2004.

Shirlene was last employed as a teacher for the Ridley School District, Folsom, PA for 36 years until retiring in 1993. Shirlene was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lancaster, PA for years. She was also a member of the P.S.E.A. and the N.E.A.

Survivors: She is survived by her brother, Darryll Kuhns and wife Kathleen of Ephrata, PA, sister, Sharon Stepien wife of David of Hobe Sound, FL. nieces; Janet, Jennifer, Kristi, and Emily, nephews; Tim, Craig, and Jacob. She was predeceased by her brother, Dale and his wife Barb.

A private graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA 18052. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 is in charge of arrangements.
