Shirley E. Bell

Shirley E. Bell , of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.  She was the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie (Tatum) Holcomb and wife of the late Walter H. Bell.

She worked as a nurse's aide, and then as a greeter at Wal-Mart before retiring.  She is also a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Lehighton.

Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Diana L,. McLaughlin of Lehighton.  Sons, Rick Nichols and wife Bonnie of Portland, IN, and Randy Nichols of Portland, IN.  Brother, Gordon Holcomb of Portland, IN.  Sister, Gloria Roberts of Houghton Lake, MI.  Six grandchildren and seven, great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Steven Franks.

Services: The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service, all on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Interment will follow at Franklin Heights Memorial Park, Lehighton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
