Shirley Heilman

Shirley A. Heilman, 81 of Moore Township, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at her residence. Born Wednesday, August 30, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Vandergrift) Sabatine. She was the wife of Clarence Heilman with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.

Shirley worked for 25 years as a sewing machine operator for Mary's Fashions, before her retirement in 2002. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed drawing, crocheting, gardening, watching movies, and reading books. She also loved caring for her horse, Cocoa.

Surviving are husband Clarence, daughters, Janice Dotter of Moore Township, Cheri Solt and husband Matthew, of Bath, PA, and Cindy Maikits and husband Robert of Northampton, PA, daughter, Cindy Eck and husband Robert of Cementon,brothers, Frank Sabatine, Ricky Sabatine, Larry Crocker, Gary Crocker and Randy Crocker, sister, Penny Sabatine; grandchildren, Joe Getz, Jay Maikits, Tim Getz, Johnny Getz, Jared Getz, Tom Getz, Mitchell Solt, Christian Solt, Tyler Crum. 10 great-grandchildren. 3 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Lester Getz, Jr and Johnny Getz, brother, Barry Crocker, sister,
Mary Jo Sabatine, and granddaughter, Wendy Silfies.

A Funeral service will be held privately at the family's convenience. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
