Shirley Ann Krause

Shirley Ann Krause, 85, of Catasauqua, PA, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021.  Born March 11, 1935 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Lillian (Muth) Lewis.  She was the wife of the late Richard Krause, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage until his death in 2010.

Shirley graduated from Northampton High School Class of 1953. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's U.C.C., Northampton, PA.  She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Catasauqua, where she volunteered as a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors: Son, Jeffrey Krause and wife Jacqueline of Bethlehem.  Daughters, Yvette Maurer and husband Kenneth of Bethlehem, and Wendy M. Weaver and husband Geffrey of Laveen, AZ.  Sisters, Joyce Sterner and Kathleen Wieder.  Brother-in-law, James Krause.  7 grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by sister, Hazel Fischl, and grandson, Joseph Weaver, and twin brothers.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
