Shirley A. "Nana" Solosky

Shirley A. "Nana" Solosky , 82 of Northampton, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born October 2, 1941 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Sterling and Emily D. (Johnson) Frey.

Shirley was a Home Health Aide for many years before retiring. She also worked as a secretary for the former Bethlehem Steel, Co., then at SHR, where she made dashboards for Corsicas and Barettas, and for the Kresge Paper Company. Shirley enjoyed talking with her family and friends every day and had a passion for crossword puzzles and ice cream. She was also known for her love of cats.

She is survived by sons, Wayne A. Solosky and Shari of Northampton, and Scott A. Solosky and wife Monica of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Robin, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, and Ashley, and great-grandchildren, Shana, Aiden, Marlee, and Aleeya, and her faithful canine companion, Darla.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
