Stanley R. Herman

Stanley R. Herman , 79, of Ridge Street, Lansford, PA, died peacefully Monday evening, September 29, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Miner's Memorial Campus, Coaldale.  Born in Coopersburg, he was a son of the late Harry and Stella (Mann) Herman.

Stanley as employed by the Fuller Company, Allentown, as a crane operator for many years.  Later, he worked as a warehouse forklift operator and in construction for Olympic Pools, and Rex Construction.  An army veteran, Vietnam, he achieved the rank of SP4.  Stanley was a member of the American Legion Post #576 and the VFW Post #13, both of Allentown.  He was also a member of Victory for Veterans.  Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and the weekend polkas.

Survivors: Daughter, Tara L. Gavornik and companion, Ismael Figueroa with whom he resided.  Sons, Tyson and wife Beth Herman of Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Kyle Herman, and Skylar Herman, both of Allentown.  8 grandchildren.  6 great-grandchildren.  He had 14 siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by son, Troy, in November of 2024.
