Stanley M. Seyfried, Sr., 75 of Northampton, entered into his forever home peacefully with his family by his side in his earthly home on Thursday, February 17, 2022, and has been reunited, in heaven, with his wife, Carol A. (Owens) Seyfried who passed away in 2020. He was born on May 21, 1946 in Allentown and was the son of the late Raymond Seyfried and the late Helen (Novicki) Seyfried.
Stanley served his country honorably in the US Air Force from 1965-1968 during the Vietnam War and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #375, Allentown, for over 38 years. He worked for the Crowder Jr Company from 1970-1992. He was the owner and operator of A.C.S. Electric from 1993 until retiring in 2009. After retiring he worked for Penske as a truck hiker for 3 years. Stanley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Easton, PA. He also enjoyed attending services and events at Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, PA.
Stanley, along with his wife, was a member of the Family Motorcoach Association (FMCA) and the Penn Coachman Chapter. He had a love for traveling and was fortunate to travel to 49 of the 50 states with his wife in their motorhome, visiting the 50 th state by air travel.
Surviving are his two daughters, Sherry, wife of Alfred W. Stufflet of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and Kristie, wife of John G. Frantz of Allentown, PA; his son, Stanley M. Seyfried, Jr. and wife Robyn of Hilliard, FL; his seven grandchildren: Kevin, David, Jessica, wife of Alex Ruderman, and Derek Stufflet, Daniel, Sarah and Asa Frantz, and his great-granddaughter, Scarlett Ruderman; siblings Margaret Evanko (husband John), George Terpoilli, and Ronald (wife Sandra) Seyfried, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Michaelena, and brothers, David, and Victor Seyfried.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 26, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5300 Green Pond Road Easton, PA 18045 with the Rev. Larry E. Burd officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment with military honors will be held privately in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church memorial fund c/o the funeral home.
