Stanley P. Torbey, 64, of Coplay, passed away on January 12, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus.
Born, August 9, 1953 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stanley E. and Anna (Stetz) Torbey. He and his wife
Donna M. (Bramich) Torbey were married on November 18, 1972.
Stanley was employed by Tru-Value Hardware in Fogelsville for 32 years before retiring in 2013 and was a member
of Egypt Community Church, Egypt.
He honorably served in the US Army during Vietnam.
In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter, April wife of Jason L. Ritter of Dillsburg, PA, son, Michael and wife
Pamela P. Torbey of Lehighton, brother, Richard and wife Theresa Torbey of Coplay, sister, Delores Erkinger of
Northampton, grandchildren, Kolby, Lauren, Erica, Emily and Mikey.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a 12:00 PM memorial service on Saturday,
January 20, 2018, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the ASPCA in care of the funeral home.
