Stefanie M. Whitmore

Stefanie M. Whitmore , 59, of Millway Street, Lehighton, PA, died peacefully Thursday, October 24, 2024, in her home.  She was the wife of David M. Whitmore since June 24, 2001.  Born in Reading, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Lyons, Sr., and Mrs. Luba (Bylik) Lyons of Elkins Park.

Stefanie was employed by the US Treasury in the IRS Department for over 30 years.  She was a graduate of the Roxborough High School, and later earned her Associates Degree.  She loved to cook.

Survivors: Husband, David.  Mother, Mrs. Luba (Bylik) Lyons.  Daughters, Angela wife of James Cauley, Jr., of National Park, NJ, Samantha Gallagher of Lehighton, and Emily Whitmore of Penns Grove, NJ.  Sons, Joshua and wife Tracy Whitmore of Franklinville, NJ, and Christopher Gallagher of Wilmington, DE.  5 grandchildren.  Sister, Lauren Lyons wife of Theodore Prusakowski of Elkins Park.  Brother, Edward, Jr. and wife Isadora Lyons of Ardmore.  In-Laws, Ronald Whitmore, Robert Whitmore and wife Naomi, John Whitmore and wife Dotsie, Lorraine Coyle, and Joanne Rosenberg.  Nieces and nephews.
