Stephen J. Behun, Iii

Stephen J. Behun, III , 76, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully early Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Mary M. (McGavin) Behun since October 7, 1989.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Stephen J., Jr. and Lillian (Everitt) Behun.

Stephen was employed as a machine operator for the B. Braun Medical Co., Bethlehem.  Previously, he was employed as a brewer for the former Schaefer Brewing Co., the former Stroh's Brewing Co., and Ametek Manufacturing, Nesquehoning.  Stephen was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.  He was a 1964 graduate of the Palmerton High School, and later served in the Navy, Vietnam.  Stephen enjoyed reading, history, and Jeopardy.

Survivors: Wife.  Sons, Joseph E., and John S., both of Palmerton.  Sisters, Susan J. wife of John Williams of Havre De Grace, MD, and Sally J. wife of Andrew Krawchuk of Palmerton.  Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
