Stephen J. Kun, Jr

Stephen J. Kun, Jr., 76, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born September 14, 1943 in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Stephen Kun and Mary (Szoke) Kun.  He was the husband of the late Sandra Lee (Nothstein) Kun, who passed in 1998.

Stephen was a graduate of East Stroudsburg State Teacher's College, after graduation, he worked for 31 years as a science and physical education teacher for Pleasant Valley High School. Stephen was an active member of the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club and Hungarian Club, Palmerton, PA. Stephen was also an avid outdoorsmen, he loved hunting, fishing, and bird watching.

Survivors: Daughter, Melissa wife of Richard DeSocio of Palmerton, PA.  Brother, Ernest Kun and wife Barbara of Bryn Mawr, PA.  Companion, Janet Shupp. 2 grandchildren, Elijah and Nika, nephew, Michael, niece, Amanda.

Service: A Memorial Service will be held privately at the family's convenience. Burial be at Sacred Heart New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Online Condolences for the family may be made at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
