Stephen J. Wentz, 56, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, died Sunday April 3, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, PA. Born August 10, 1959 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Patricia Wentz and the late James E. Wentz, Jr.
He was an insulation installer for The Service Team and he was an avid hunter and fisherman, who also enjoyed going to the beach.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Meagan Wentz of Palmerton, Pennsylvania. Brother, James E. Wentz, III of Parryville, Pennsylvania; Sister, Deana wife of Robert Muthard of Horntown, Virginia. He was predeceased by brother, John M. Wentz and biological father, Joseph Ebeley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, in the Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania 18071, with the Rev. Nancy Haigh Ross officiating. A Calling Hour from 4:00-5:00 p.m. will precede the service in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alpha 1 Foundation, c/o of the Campton Funeral Home, Inc.
