Susan J. Silliman

Susan J. Silliman , 67, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  Born May 10, 1954 in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Molnar) Nemecek.  She and her husband Maynard C. Silliman were married on September 28, 1974.

Susan was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Donna M. wife of Trevor Jones of Danielsville.  Grandson, Eston.  Brother, James and wife Barbara Nemecek of Sellersville.  Sister, Kathy wife of Bruce Althouse of Rainsville, Alabama.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brother, Stephen Nemecek.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, all on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, 18071.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
