Susie E. Green

Susie E. Green , 78 of Lehighton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown, PA. Born July 4, 1946 in Lehighton, PA., she was the daughter of the late Walter Walck and the late Betty (Solt) Walck.

Susie was a graduate of Lehighton High School, class of 1964. She then went on to start her working career as a button holer, working for Scottie's and other sewing mills for 30 years. She then worked at Laneco in the shoe department for a few years, and finally ending her working career at CL I.U. #21 as a bus driver for 12 years before retiring in 2012. Susie was a member of the ladies auxiliary for the Franklin Fire Company, and was a volunteer at the Big Creek Grange. She enjoyed playing bingo and always looked forward to her Saturday girls trips.

Survivors: son, Rodney Green of Boonton, NJ, daughter, Kelly Green of Palmerton, PA grandsons Trevin Green and wife Arissa, Ty Green, and Andrew Zawoiski, all of Palmerton, PA, great grandson Cassian Green. She was predeceased by brother, Rodger Walck, and sister Linda Meckes.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071 has been entrusted with her care and arrangements.
