Sylwester Z. Goral

Sylwester Z. Goral, 76, of Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died early Thursday morning, December 15, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Helena M. (Jonkisz) Goral since November 20, 1962. Born in Warsaw, Poland, he was a son of the late Peter and Stella (Pruszkowska) Goral.
Sylwester was employed on the assembly line of the former General Motors-Cadillac and Chevrolet Plant, Linden, New Jersey, for 33 years, retiring in 2000. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. In his early years, Sylwester was a cycling enthusiast, and enjoyed the annual Tour de France. He enjoyed bird watching, and contributed to the Audubon Society.
Survivors: Wife, Helena. Daughter, Jolanta wife of James McCarth of Merrimac, Massachusetts. Sons, Darius Z. and wife Lillian of Alamuchy, New Jersey, Daniel of Palmerton. 4 grandsons. Brother, Bogdan and wife Eva of Warsaw, Poland.
Services: 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 3:00-4:00 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be private.
