Tammy L. Kolek

Tammy L. Kolek , 51, of Lehighton, PA, passed away on April 22, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem.  Born October 28, 1970 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. Fritz and Irene M. (Stepp) Fritz.  She was the wife of Bobby Kolek, with whom she shared 33 years of marriage this past April 15th.

She was a graduate of Palmerton High School.  Tammy had worked multiple jobs and was last employed at the former Paris Fabrics, Slatington, PA for a few years before retiring. Prior to, she was employed by the Boulevard Restaurant, Lehighton, as a cashier/cook.  Tammy loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She liked playing BINGO, and listening to rock music.

Survivors: Surviving along with her husband Bobby, are daughters, Janda Kolek and companion Timothy Lowe, Jr., and Tia Kolek and companion Matthew Kochen, both of Lehighton.  Brother, Donald Charles Fritz, Jr. of Scranton.  3 grandchildren, Ivan and Alma Lowe, and Nezryn Kochen.  Step-grandsons, Garrett Kolek, and Nicholas Kolek of Parryville.

Services: A public visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Online Condolences may be made to the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
