Terry L. Balliet

Terry L. Balliet, 71 of Walnutport, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at his home.
Born December 26, 1944 in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Norman and Mary (Parish) Balliet. He and his wife Eileen M. (Sauerwine) Balliet were married on July 16, 2005. He was very active in youth athletics in Palmerton, coaching youth basketball as well as coaching basketball at Palmerton High School, Northwestern Lehigh High School and Wilkes University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Jason and wife Shawna Balliet of Englewood, CO, daughter, Jamie and wife Meghan Balliet of Bethlehem, step-son, Chad and wife Jill Hickman, Angharad (Jones) Balliet, grandchildren, Kristen wife of Dan, Brandon, Lucy, Olivia and Gabe.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the Campton Funeral Home 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for the useof purchasing a memorial bench in his memory that will be placed in Palmerton.
