Terry L. Bird

Terry L. Bird , 66 of Northampton, PA, passed on Monday, April 29, 2024, at his residence in Northampton, PA. Born Friday, July 5, 1957 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Elmer L. Bird, Sr. and the late Renae (Schneeberger)  Bird.

Terry was a graduate of Northampton Area High School, class of '75. Afterwards, he went on to further his education and earn his certificate in Electrical Engineering. This led to him working as an electrical engineer for over 20 years at F. L. Smidth, He then went on to work as a Temp Automation Specialist at Sanofi Pasture for 7 years before retiring in 2019. Terry was an avid sportsman, enjoying his time outdoors fishing, and hunting. He also loved to spend an afternoon out on the golf course.

Survivors: brothers, Elmer L. Bird, Jr., and wife Francine of Walnutport, PA and Kieth Bird, and wife Meridith of Northampton, PA, sister, Wanda Trautman, and husband Ben of Northampton, PA, along with multiple nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday May 10, 2024, at Schisler Funeral Home, located at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067, with the Rev. Rachel Ziese Hacker officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 PM up until the time of service.
