Thomas J. Blenk, Sr. , 80, of Franklin Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died early Tuesday morning, January 3, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Prudence (Onesto) Blenk since March 17, 1979. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late William and Regina (Heyer) Blenk.
Thomas was the owner/operator of Trudy B's Restaurant, Freeport, NY, for many years. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Francis Prep, Brooklyn, NY, where he was an All American swimmer, setting records in the butterfly stroke.
Survivors: Wife. Sons, Thomas J., Jr. and wife Ashley of Chatham, NJ, and Michael W. and wife Jessica of Blue Bell, PA. 3 grandchildren, Thomas J., III, Scarlett Q., and Parker M.
