Thomas L. Craig , 70, born in Bowmanstown, PA, was the youngest child of the late Byron S. Craig and Alma (Christman) Craig. He was the loving husband of Debra (Slanina) Craig for 40 years this September 6th.
He was a 1968 graduate of the Palmerton High School. A very private man and hard worker, he was employed as a laborer, then later as a heavy equipment operator for Reibe, Livengood, and Beer's Construction Companies. Taking on a readymade family to raise as a Dad when a father did not - loving his family and always putting their needs first. Thomas enjoyed being called "Happy" and "Pappy" by the grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughter, Amanda (Craig) Dieter. Sons, Jason Wheeler, and Matthew Wheeler. Grandchildren, Nathaniel Wheeler, Cole Wheeler, Ella Wheeler, and Fiona Dieter. He was predeceased by brothers, Barry L. Craig, and Byron C. Craig.
Services: A Celebration of Tom's Life will be scheduled at a later time at the convenience of the family.
