Thomas E. Dyson, Jr.

Thomas E. Dyson, Jr., 55, of Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital - Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus, Lehighton.  Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Thomas E. Dyson, Sr., of Keasbey, NJ, and the late Vita (Pace) Hayes.  He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Kambach) Dyson since May 28, 1994, and survived by son, Michael T. Dyson.

Thomas was employed by Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe.  Previously, he worked for Taste Bud Restaurant, Tannersville.  A 1983 graduate of the Stroudsburg High School, he attended and graduated from Lackawanna Junior College Police Academy.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking great meals, and baking the best cookies.

Survivors: Wife, Ann Marie.  Father, Thomas Dyson and stepmother Joann Dyson of Keasbey, NJ.  Sister, Cherylann Metzgar of Long Pond.  Twin brother, John Dyson of Virginia Beach, VA.  Niece, Sally wife of Todd Fredericks.  Great niece, Lily Mae.  Nephews, Bradley Dyson, and William Metzgar.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
