Thomas R. Glass

Thomas R. Glass , 62, of Allentown, Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, died early Friday morning, September 22, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Jennifer A. (Davis) Glass and father of Joshua T. Glass of Breiningsville.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of Rachel S. (Fegley) Glass and the late Forrie T. Glass of Danielsville.

Thom spent the majority of his career as an Environmental Safety Manager.  He was employed by Spirax Sarco, formerly of Allentown, for 20 years.  He also worked for B. Braun in Bethlehem, Geo Specialty Chemicals in Allentown, Just Born in Bethlehem, and most recently, Amazon in Breiningsville.

A graduate of Northampton High School, he later completed his Bachelor's Degree in Science in Environmental Health and Safety at Hill University.  Thom served as president of the Sarco Federal Credit Union in Bethlehem for many years.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, great at fixing things, enjoyed boardwalk strolls in OCNJ and maybe most of all, loved making people laugh.  He will be sorely missed.

Survivors: Wife, Jennifer.  Mother, Rachel.  Son, Joshua.  Sisters, Nancy, wife of Gerald Snyder of Ashfield, Linda, wife of Paul Koch of Palmerton, Cindy Hower of Franklin Township, Debbie, wife of Robert Roycroft of Allentown.  Brothers, Tim of Danielsville, Terry Sr. and wife Kim of Northampton, Todd, and wife Shari of Hamburg.  Godchildren, Holly Kearns and Liam High, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 and 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday in the funeral home.  Interment is at Grandview Cemetery, Walbert Avenue, Allentown.  Online Condolences may be left at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
