Thomas E. Heil

Thomas E. Heil , 86 of Brighton, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home. Born March 14, 1938 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lester and Julia (Vlahovic) Heil. He and his wife Doris A. (Biery) Heil were married on May 7, 1966.

He was employed by Morning Call. He was a Graphic Arts Teacher at the Lehigh County Vo Tech for thirty four years and a part time pre-press layout artist for the Morning Call, Allentown for twenty years. Thomas was a member and former President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher for the Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Kreidersville. He was also a former Secretary and Treasurer of the Allen Township Supervisors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Edward T. Heil and wife Sarah Marsh of Howell, MI. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard Heil and William Germane.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Zion Stone United Church of Christ located at 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, with the Rev. Michael A. Landsman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service, all on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Zion Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road-Kreidersville, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery, Kreidersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
