Thomas J. Jones

Thomas J. Jones , 35, formerly of Palmerton, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at his residence. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the husband of Stephanie E. (Colangelo) Jones of Palmerton, with whom he shared 15 years of marriage.  He was the son of Jonathan J. Jones of Palmerton, PA and Laura (Werner) Jones of Bartlesville, OK.

Thomas was a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force for 6 yrs, serving in Afghanistan and South Korea. He was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast.

Survivors: Surviving along with his wife and parents are brother, Daniel Jones of Palmerton, PA.  Step-Brother, Ashley Leech of Hanover, PA.  Step-Sisters, Heather & Becky Leech of Bartlesville, OK. He was predeceased by step-brother Jeremy Leech.

Services: The funeral service with military honors will be held at 6:00 PM. on Sunday March 28, 2021 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue Palmerton, PA. 18071 with Rev. Dean Frey officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The public is reminded to continue to observe social distancing guidelines including the wearing of facial coverings.
