Thomas Jones, 75, of Slatington, formerly of Palmerton, died Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late William J., Sr. and Ellen (Green) Jones.
Thomas was a member of St. John''s United Church of Christ, Slatington. In his youth, Tom enjoyed, and would be seen traveling between auto service stations selling candy.
Survivors: Sister, Mrs. Myrtle Haydt of Palmerton. Brother, William J., Jr. and wife Ruth of Emerald. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania 18071. Call, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Interment, Slatedale Cemetery, Brown Street, Washington Township.
