Thomas G. Kush, Sr., 76 of Allentown, PA, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Born December 16, 1944 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Kush, Sr. and the late Elizabeth A. (Mesaros) Kush. He was the husband of Brenda (Miller) Kush with whom he would have shared 50 years of marriage this June 28, 2021.
Thomas was a Diesel Mechanic at Coplay Cement Co. and then Essroc, Nazareth for 45 years before retiring in 2012. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield. He served his country in the US Army as a SP4 during the Vietnam War. Thomas was devoted to his wife and entire family, loved his daily walks and nurturing the outdoor wildlife.
Thomas is survived by his wife, a son, Thomas G. Kush, Jr., daughters, Kim K. wife of Robert Fritz, and Wendy K. wife of Keith D. Breininger, grandsons, Nathan (Ashley Everett) Breininger and Noah Breininger, granddaughter, Hannah Fritz, great-granddaughters, Paige & Harper Breininger and beloved granddog Mona. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph J. Kush, Jr. in 2012.
A public visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday March 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067. A public Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday March 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Assumption B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Cherryville Road, Northampton, PA. The public is reminded to continue to observe social distancing guidelines along with wearing of facial coverings.
