Thomas J. Lacko , 52, of Wood Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, PA, died peacefully early Thursday morning, Sept 28, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of Annette S. (Scherer) Lacko since July 2, 2004. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stephen A. and Frances A. (Cherry) Lacko.
Thomas was owner/operator of Lacko Construction and Snow Plowing Co., Walnutport for over 25 years. Previously, he and his father worked in the construction business and with various other construction companies. Thomas was a 1988 graduate of the Northampton High School, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He loved fishing and was a member of Ranger Rod and Gun Club, Coplay, Blue Mountain Fish and Game Assoc, Lehigh Township, and was a social member of Diamond Volunteer Fire Co., Walnutport. Thomas enjoyed owning and caring for his Saint Bernards and Bernese Mountain Dogs, collecting Hess Models, and Radio Controlled Trucks. He especially enjoyed food and going out to weekend dinners with his wife.
Survivors : Wife. Aunt, Ann Marie Anthony of Emmaus. Uncle, James and wife Renda (Cherry) Lacko of Mesa, AZ. Many cousins and friends.
Services : 11:00AM Thursday, October 5, 2023, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 7:00p.m - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, and 10-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, PA 18071.
