Thomas C. Nace

Thomas C. Nace, 68, of Franklin Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 2, 2019, in his home.  He was the husband of Linda D. (Smale) Nace since June 24, 1972.  Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late William T., Jr. and Catherine (Daubenspeck) Nace.

Thomas was a self-employed roofer/siding contractor.  He served in the Marine Corps, Vietnam Era, Stateside and achieved the rank of PFC.   He was a member of the Petersville Rod and Gun Club, Moore Township, and both American Legion Oplinger-Hower Post, Lehigh Township, and the American Legion, Lehighton Post.

Survivors: Wife, Linda.  Daughters, Tara A. wife of James Wentz, III of Parryville, Sherry M. wife of Sterling Strohl of Lehighton.  Sons, Thomas D. and wife Michelle Nace of Lehighton, Scott A. and wife June Nace of Ridgeway, SC.  6 grandchildren, Jacob, James, Tyler, Damian, Kaitlyn, and Seth.  4 brothers, William and wife Naomi Nace, and Woodrow and wife JoAnn Nace, all of Lehighton, Arthur and wife Jean Nace, and Willard Nace, all of Lansford.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sisters, Annamae Hartranft, and Dolly Nace.

Services: Memorial Services with Military Honors , 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Call, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home.
