Thomas P. Rehl, Sr., 80, of Fairyland Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, PA, died peacefully Sunday evening, November 24, 2024, in his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Patricia A. (Gilpin) Rehl since October 28, 1967. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William, Sr., and Anna (Miller) Rehl.
Thomas was employed as a general laborer by the former Circle M. Construction Co., Lehighton. Previously, he worked as a roofer for many years. A life member of the Lehighton Volunteer Fire Company, he enjoyed shooting pool, dancing, Philadelphia Professional Sports, Phillies, and the Eagles.
Survivors: Wife. Daughter, Dawn M. wife of Stephen G. Miller of Lehighton. Son, Michael J. and wife Norell of Lehighton. 4 grandchildren, Ashley Rehl and companion Joseph Moyer, Michael Rehl and companion Samantha Steigerwalt, Jessica (Rehl) wife of Larry Eck, and Jace Rehl. 3 great-grandchildren, Wyatt Moyer, Kole Moyer, and Mikayla Rehl. Twin sister, Dolores Rehl Clopp of Philadelphia. Brother, Bernard "Buzzy" and wife Patricia of NJ. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Thomas P., Jr. in 2022, sisters, Josephine Biggs, Betty Sirorine, and Shirley Morrow, and brothers, Robert, Carl Sr., and William Jr.
Services: Memorial Services, 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2024, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday in the funeral home. Private Interment. Online Condolences may be made to the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
