Thomas Keith Sayuk , 63, of Centennial, Colorado, died peacefully Saturday, May 14, 2022, at home after a lengthy battle with multiple system atrophy (MSA). He was the husband of Nancy (Tamburello) Sayuk, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Andrew and Kathleen (Scott) Sayuk.
A 1976 graduate of Palmerton Area High School, in 1980 Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A 1981 graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School, he achieved the rank of lieutenant before being honorably discharged in 1984. He worked for Lockheed Martin and then Boeing as an aerospace engineer on various space programs, most notably the Cassini mission to Saturn, before retiring in 2016. "Uncle Tom" shared many special moments with nephews Matthew, Christopher, and Alexander, along with nephew Brian, and niece Angela. An avid photographer and worldwide traveler, he will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Wife, Nancy Sayuk. Brothers, Keith Sayuk and fiancee Dawn, Mark Sayuk and wife Svetlana, and David Sayuk and wife Sharon. Many loving relatives and friends.
