Timothy J. Evert

Timothy J. Evert , 77, of Palmerton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  Born June 12, 1947, he and his wife Nancy E. (Frey) Evert were married on June 14, 1984.

He worked for the New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton, for many years until retiring.  During Vietnam, Timothy honorably served in the US Navy on the USS Mount Baker.  He loved hunting and fishing, and was an avid Eagles fan.  He coached Palmerton Football for many years.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, April L. wife of George Goetz of Allentown, and Colleen M. Evert of Coplay.  Stepson, Vincent A. Balent of Palmerton.  Grandchildren, Kevin R. Booth, and Erika K. Booth, and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his stepson, Brian S. Balent, two brothers, and nine sisters.
