Tina Marie Michael

Tina Marie Michael, 55 of Bethlehem- E. Allen Twsp. PA, died Monday, July 18, 2016, at her home. Born June 22, 1961 in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley W. Gerstenberg and Carrie V. (Miller) Gerstenberg of Nazareth, PA. She was the wife of Edward M. Michael, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage this past March 4, 2016. Tina was a graduate of Northampton High School who was last employed by Walgreens Distribution Center, Bath, PA. as a picker for 7 years before retiring in 2006. Prior to she was a machine operator for the former Tama Manufacturing, Northampton for 21 years until its closing. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Whitehall, PA;
She was a foster Mother for over 14 years to several children in addition to her own, she enjoyed needlepoint and sharing that skill with her grandchildren. In her schooling years at Northampton High School she excelled and was awarded for her Softball and Basketball participation.

Surviving along with her husband and mother are daughter, Tracy L. Wife of Adam Briody of Northampton, PA, son, Matthew A. Michael and wife Crystal of Kunkletown, PA, brother, Raymond Gerstenberg and wife Beth of Northampton, PA, sisters, Caroline wife of Harold Souilliard of Newburgh, NY, Ruthann wife of Kevin Wackley of Danielsville, PA and Ms. Joanne Hess of Lehighton, PA; 8 Granddaughters and 4 Grandsons, and a great granddaughter. Along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday July 22, 2016 at St. John's United Church of Christ - Fullerton, 575 Grape Street Whitehall, PA. 18052 with the Rev. George Eckstein officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the services in the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangement are under the care of the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA.
