Todd D. Geist

Todd D. Geist, 61, of Lehighton, PA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.  Born January 16, 1965 in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Barbara (Kuhns) Geist, Sr.

Todd "Hollywood" Geist was an avid late model race car driver who raced at Dorney Park Speedway, Mahoning Valley Speedway, and Evergreen Raceway.  He was once the all-time feature race leader in the late model division at Mahoning Valley Speedway, however, now sits in the 6th spot.  He earned back-to-back championships at Evergreen Raceway in 1996, and 1997.  He has a total of 41 career wins.  He was among the all-time best in the Late Model category, and considered one of the fiercest and feistiest drivers in that division.

Survivors:  He is survived by daughters, Brittany M. Lesher and Fiance Joel Gulla of Palmerton, and Lacey N. wife of Derek Barachie of Palmerton.  Sons, Cody D. Geist and Fiancee Tori Dimmig of Palmerton, and Shayne R. Geist of Lehighton.  Grandchildren, Caiden, Kandra, Savanna, Aylexia, Chase, Adalyn, Parker, Ava, Autumn, Gannon, and Nash.  Nieces and nephews, Amber, Brynn, Kylie, Brian, and Tyler.  He was predeceased by brother, William "Mick" Geist.
