Truman C. Kreiser , 91, formerly of Iron Street, Lehighton, PA, died peacefully early Sunday evening, December 21, 2025, at his daughter's residence in Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Lucille G. (Fronheiser) Kreiser who passed in 2023. Born in Franklin Township, he was a son of the late Jacob A. and Emma E. (Strohl) Kreiser.
Truman was employed as a carpenter from 1967 to 1989 by the C and G Lumber Co., Lehighton. He later enjoyed tinkering with small engine repair, lawn mowers, and sharpening chain saws from his workshop at home. Truman enjoyed all types of carpentry work, gardening, working on cars, and remodeling homes. In 1953, Truman enlisted in the PA Army National Guard, Lehighton. He attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton. Toward the end of his life, he was under the care of St. Luke's VNA Hospice, who took excellent care of him.
Survivors: Daughters, Trudy L. wife of Richard Nichol with whom he resided, Deborah A. wife of Leonard Silfies of Pennsville, Lehigh Township, and Robin Ackerman-Beiling wife of David Beiling of Palmerton. Son, David C. and wife Theresa of Saylorsburg. 6 grandchildren. 12 great-grandchildren. 4 step-grandchildren. 4 step-great-grandchildren. Brother, Delroy Kreiser of Lehighton. He was predeceased by sisters, Nancy Kreiser, and Jane Ahner.
