Venetia E. Archer

Venetia E. (Danner) Archer , 82, of Mahoning Mountain Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, Pennsylvania, died Friday afternoon, August 20, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late Douglas A. Archer, Sr., who passed in 2016.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Leah (Boyer) Danner.

Venetia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She was a member of Bethany EC Church, Lehighton.  A 1957 graduate of the Palmerton High School, she and her late husband were volunteers for the Yoke Fellowship Prison Ministry.

Survivors: Daughters, Jenice L. Frehulfer of Williston, VT, and Carla J. wife of Rev. Randy Sizemore of Dixon, IL.  Sons, Mark A. and wife Susan of Salem, MO, and Douglas A., Jr. and wife Erin of Saylorsburg.  15 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.  Brother, Robert, Jr. and wife Kathryn of Washington State.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by infant sister, Janice and brother, Joseph.
