Veronica A. Haklar

Veronica A. Haklar, 70, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus.  Born March 4, 1951, in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Cletus R. and the late Ruth (Pauff) Schlier; and predeceased by her stepmother, Carol A. (Leikel) Schlier.  She and her husband Joseph J. Haklar were married on April 13, 1990.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Jesse G. and wife Tara Marshall of Lansford, and Matthew R. Moyer of Allentown.  Brothers, Clayton E. Schlier of Bowmanstown, and Donald L. Schlier of Nesquehoning.  Sister, Cindy wife of Ed Whitehead of Lehighton.  Seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by daughter, Lisa A. Romanuski, and a brother, Brian K. Schlier.
