Victoria H. Hansut

Victoria H. Hansut, 94, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died early Tuesday morning, August 9, 2016 at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Stefan and Maria (German) Hansut.
Victoria was employed as a sewing machine operator at the former Nikki's Fashions Co., Palmerton. Previously, she worked in the same capacity at the former Fernbrook Manufacturing, Forest Inn. Victoria attended Lighthouse Baptist Church, Beltzville. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. Victoria's family would like to graciously thank the entire staff of the Mahoning Valley Nursing Home for their wonderful care, and the compassion shown for her.
Survivors: Daughters, Denise L. Depasquale, Judy L. wife of Terry Eckhart, all of Palmerton. Son, Frank Slanina of Lansford. 5 grandchildren: Terry II, Brandon, Amber, Nicholas, and Felicia. 3 great-grandchildren: Michael, Ty, and Camdyn. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 14 sisters and brothers.
Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday at the home. Interment is at Towamensing Cemetery, 3rd Street and Fireline Road, Palmerton. Officiating will be Pastor Jennifer K. Eckhart.
