Virginia Mae Brey

Virginia "Ginny" M. (Dech) Brey , 80, of Hilliard, Ohio formerly of Northampton, PA, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 15, 2024 at Doctor's West Hospital, Columbus, OH. Born November 3, 1943 in Northampton PA. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth H. Dech and the later Ruth E. (Hess) Dech.

Ginny was a Northampton High School graduate who went on to work in Retail Sales at various locations for over 30 years before retiring. More recently, she worked for Dollar General in OH. Ginny loved dancing and bowling. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.

Survivors : She is survived by her son, Robert husband of Paula Schall of Grove City, Ohio; two daughters, Kim wife of Richard Lucas of Galloway, Ohio and Brenda wife of Michael Colehouse of Lewis Center, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brittany Blankenship, Anthony Harvey, Lauren Colehouse and Ellie Colehouse; a great grandson, Ace Hale; and a sister Ruthann wife of Emery Werkheiser of Northampton, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday April 24, 2024 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067, with Rev. Roderick Sutliff officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to services. Interment will follow in St. Peter's UCC Church Cemetery, 8143 Valley View Road, Northampton, PA, 18067.

Ginny was a cancer survivor. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
