Wanda H. Gruber , 70, of  Plainfield Township, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Bethlehem Born February 21, 1953 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Schuyler S. and Minnie E. (Heimer) Snyder. She and her husband, Jacob J. Gruber were married on April 11, 1970.

She volunteered for the Plainfield Farmers Fair and was a member of the Stockertown Rod and Gun Club. Wanda is a former member of the Zoning Hearing Board for Plainfield Township. She was a member of the NRA and loved hunting, sewing, woodworking, crafting, gardening, and bird watching. Wanda loved her dog, Lucky Lady.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Amanda A. Wieder and fiance Jeremy Pinkerton of Nazareth, and Lisa L. wife of David Engler of Wind Gap, brother, Kevin and wife Patricia Snyder of Nazareth, and grandchildren, Arica, Alyson, Wyatt, Genieva, and Ellie. She was predeceased by brother, Schuyler G. Snyder and sister, LaVerne Oswald.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare or the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, both in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18067.
